Local Civil War soldier descendants sought for June 28 ceremony

There is a search for descendants of Civil War Union Army soldiers from the City of Belleville, Sumpter Township, and Van Buren Township. A ceremony honoring these soldiers will be held on June 28 at the Veterans Memorial in Horizon Park, Belleville. If you are a descendant, please contact Ginger Bruder (734) 461-2498 before June 10.
