Since Trustee Martha Toth has resigned her seat on the Van Buren Public School Board of Education, the school board needs to have someone to fill her term for the months of October, November, and December, ending Dec. 31.
If you are a resident of the school district interested in filling this temporary vacancy, fill out an application and submit it to the superintendent’s office no later than 4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30.
The information will be forwarded to the board on Oct. 3 and the board will fill the vacancy at its regular meeting on Monday, Oct. 10.
