The Van Buren Board of Trustees will return to its roots to hold its June 6 board meeting at the historic Van Buren Township Hall, currently home to the Belleville-Area Museum.
The 405 Main Street location in downtown Belleville, is listed on the State of Michigan Register of Historic Places. Constructed in 1875, it served as the grand meeting hall for 90 years. The historic site will host the Van Buren board for the first time in half a century at 7 p.m. June 6.
