Sumpter announces Cutest Babies

The winners in the 2015 Cutest Baby Contest held during Sumpter Country Fest were announced on Memorial Day. They are:
Girls
1st place – Jasmine Larr, daughter of Heather Granger
2nd place – Raven Bennett, daughter of Brianne Lett and Gene Bennett
3rd place – Blakely Cates, daughter of Doyle and Crystal Cates
Boys:
1st place – Chance Darbyshire, son of Richard Morgan and Doriel Darbyshire
2nd place – Jesse Morgan, son of Richard Morgan and Doriel Darbyshire
3rd place – Adam Al-Said, son of Kim O’Connor
The staff of Sumpter Township Parks and Recreation Commission would like to thank its generous sponsor, John Hennessey of Hennessey Engineers, Inc., Southgate.
“Thanks to all the contestants and their
families for their participation and their work to make the contest a
success,” said Virginia Belinski, chairperson of the event. “The funds raised from the contest will be used by the Parks and Recreation Commission for family-related events, such as Family
Fun Day, the Children’s Christmas Party, and the Easter Egg Hunt.”
