• “Michigan Saves” program on Wednesday March 23, at 7 p.m.
This program will be presented in person and via Zoom. Use your email address when registering if you would like a Zoom link to the program. Learn how you can improve your home’s energy efficiency and your family’s comfort with Michigan Saves, the nation’s first nonprofit green bank. They help homeowners and small business owners find contractors to perform clean energy improvements such as air sealing, heating and cooling systems, insulation, appliances, and more. You can then explore low home improvement financing options through Michigan Saves lender partners.
• New Library Dedication Ceremony on Saturday, April 9, from 1-3 p.m.
At long last the Belleville Area District Library looks forward to officially dedicating the library and to thanking the community for helping to make it happen. Although the new building first opened for business in 2020, the pandemic delayed the community celebration. You are invited to attend the Belleville Area District Library Dedication Ceremony and Open House. The dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be followed by light refreshments, music, children’s activities, and library tours.
