Eight candidates file for four library board seats in Nov. 4 election

The deadline for filing as a candidate for four open seats on the Belleville Area District Library Board was 4 p.m. Thursday, July 17.
According to the Wayne County Clerk’s Office the following eight candidates have filed:
• Bernard Grant
• Sharon Peters
• Mary Dawson
• Paul Henning
• Lachelle Caver
• Joseph Monte
• Phillip Miller
• Tanya Stoudemire
Their names will be on the Nov. 4 general election ballot.
Incumbents are Dawson and Monte. Those not seeking reelection are Elaine Gutierrez and Christina Brasil.
