The assassination of Charlie Kirk has shocked the nation.
Kirk spoke his mind everywhere he went and he had discussions about topics that other people shy away from because of the sensitive nature.
And he was shot for it.
Every American has the right to his opinion. That’s part of what made this country great. I can have an opinion that is not shared by someone else. Big Deal. We should shake hands and let it go at that.
In the government today we see the ugliness all the time. That’s why we have government shut-downs. You are wrong and if I don’t get what I want I will shut it down instead of trying to find common ground to get the work done.
When did we get this way? Have we always been this way?
Republicans and democrats alike used to oppose each other all the time. But they got it done without harming each other.
Charlie Kirk should still be alive today. All because of some nut who could not function in society he is gone.
Violence has no place in politics. Violence has no place in our schools. Violence has no place in society. Violence has no place anywhere.

I’d like to talk about how glib and nonsensical this is, but honestly I’m distracted by the terrible grammar.
