Wendy Marie Springer, 49, was bound over to circuit court for an arraignment on the information on two computer charges in Van Buren Township on June 8, 2017. She is charged with using a computer to commit a crime, with a four-year maximum in prison, and fraudulent access to a computer, from $1,000 to $20,000.
Springer was before 34th District Court Judge David Parrott for her preliminary exam on Oct. 10. She is due at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice on Oct. 24. Springer is free on $10,000 personal recognizance bond.
Deonte Domonique Bruce-Ruffin
Deonte Domonique Bruce-Ruffin, 27, is charged with operating while intoxicated in Van Buren Township on Nov. 23, 2017. His retained attorney Daniel Reid told 34th District Court Magistrate Lisa Martin that he is “seeking a variation” and she approved an adjournment of the probable cause conference until Nov. 7.
Magistrate Martin stressed that Bruce-Ruffin should do no drinking at all.
Brandon Arthour Cole
Brandon Arthour Cole, 20, was due for his probable cause conference before Magistrate Martin on Oct. 10 on charges of larceny in a building and stealing a financial transaction device and retaining it without consent on Sept. 28 in Van Buren Township.
Cole waived his preliminary exam and magistrate Martin bound him over to circuit court for his Oct. 24 arraignment on the information. He is free on $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
David Deloy Dotson
David Deloy Dotson, 35, waived his preliminary exam on a charge of possession of narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams on March 26 in Van Buren Township. Magistrate Martin bound him over to circuit court for an arraignment on the information Oct. 24. Steven Starg is his court-appointed attorney.
Dotson is free on $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
Manson Charles Marsh
Manson Charles Marsh was not present for his probable cause conference on a charge of fleeing Van Buren Township police in a vehicle, so a bench warrant was put out for his arrest.
His attorney James Gizicki said he tried to contact his client, but couldn’t. Marsh was free after posting bond of $3,000/10%.
Delco Demare Thomas
Delco Demare Thomas, 58, is facing a charge of first-degree retail fraud in Van Buren Township on Sept. 28. He is lodged in the Wayne County Jail and has his preliminary exam scheduled for Oct. 17.
Deandre Brendan Wilson
Deandre Brendan Wilson, 19, has his preliminary exam set for Oct. 17 on a charge of fleeing police in a vehicle in the City of Belleville on Sept. 22. He is free after posting bond of $5,000/10%. Steven Scharg is his court-appointed attorney.
