Anthony Allen Harris, 21, of Belleville was arraigned Dec. 15 in 54-A District Court in Lansing on four charges in the shooting death of Gregory Allen Murray in Lansing.
According to a Lansing Police Department press release, Magistrate Millmore arraigned Harris on a charge of homicide – open murder, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a weapon with unlawful intent, and felony firearm.
He was remanded to jail with no bond. His probable cause conference is set for 1:30 p.m., Dec. 28, and his preliminary exam at 9:30 a.m., Jan. 3.
Police were called to 3200 S. Washington in Lansing at 12:33 p.m., Dec. 12, and found Murray unconscious in the west rear parking lot of an apartment complex. Murray was given first aid, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also, arrested was Emonee Marie Scott, 20, of Lansing who was charged with accessory after the fact to a felony and lying to police officers in a violent crime investigation. She will be back in court at the same times as her co-defendant.
