Correction: Mother misidentified in story

On page 10 in last week’s paper (June 22, 2017), the mother of Belleville High School student Parker Springer was misidentified because that’s how it was presented at the Van Buren Township board meeting.
We have been informed that Parker’s mother is Wendy Harkai Springer and his stepmother is Kathleen Springer. We regret the misinformation.
