The driver of the car that rolled over at 307 North Liberty Street in the City of Belleville just before noon on Monday, Aug. 15, was transported to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital by Huron Valley Ambulance. The driver was seated upright on the HVA gurney shortly after the accident and was not seriously injured, according to Belleville emergency crews on the scene.
The car hit the curb and slowly rolled over, according to an eye-witness. The driver was identified as a 70-to-80-year-old man who lives in Van Buren Township. The street reopened at 12:35 p.m.
