The annual Sumpter Seniors Black History Month program is set for 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22, at the Sumpter Community Center gymnasium, 23501 Sumpter Rd. Admission is $5 per person and all are welcome.
It’s a potluck meal, said Senior Specialist Maryann Watson, so, “Please bring your favorite down-home, pot-licking, finger-licking dish.”
