James A. Martindale, 27, of Belleville died at about 4:22 a.m. Saturday after he was thrown from a vehicle in a single-car crash on Rawsonville Road south of Oakville-Waltz Road in London Township.
A blue 2009 Dodge Charger was driving south on Rawsonville Road when the car left the road to the right, crashed into a ditch, and overturned multiple times according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Martindale was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to The Monroe News, another occupant of the vehicle was taken to Beaumont Trenton Hospital for minor injuries and later released.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies Brian Quinn and Jon Cregar of the Traffic Services Division are investigating. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call (734) 240-7493.
