Brett Haake of Shorewood, IL, caught five bass weighing 23 pounds, 11 ounces, to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League Michigan Division tournament on the Detroit River on Aug. 26.
Haake took home $3,956 for his win at Elizabeth Park Marina in Trenton.
The Bass Fishing League held a tournament in August at Elizabeth Park Marina, with nearly 100 boats participating.
Taking second place and earning $2,278 was Michael Sitko of Pinckney, with five bass weighing 23 pounds, 6 ounces.
Third place went to Mike Trombly of Belleville, who caught five bass weighing 22 pounds, 12 ounces. He earned $1,253.
