The Belleville Area Council for the Arts congratulates the winners of the ninth-annual Belleville Community Art Show as follows:
Adult 2-Dimension: 1st – Liz Dobbs, 2nd – Cynthia Price, 3rd – Noelle Douglas.
Adult 3-Dimension: 1st – Louis Nyikon, 2nd – Loel Gnadt, 3rd – Michele Montour.
Adult Photography: 1st – Tim Tonachella, 2nd – Gary Washington, 3rd – Reg Ion.
Teens (Ages 13-18): 1st – BHS New Tech Team I (Elyssa Simpson, Josh Veres, Mycah Bouldin and Dylan Bruckner), 2nd – BHS New Tech Team III (Cal Kitchen, Jaxon Long, Matt Moore and Jordan Kruchten), 3rd – BHS New Tech Team II (Alvin Stuart, Amira Yarbrough and Tavion Taylor).
Children (Ages 6-12): 1st – Kylie Ion, 2nd – Megan Roth, 3rd – Seth Chudzinski.
Recycled Recreated: 1st – John Juriga, 2nd – Ed Good, 3rd – Loel Gnadt.
People’s Choice: Louis Nyikon (“Lakeside Manor”)
A special thank you goes to the judges of the artworks: Hubert Massey, renowned fresco artist, and Dr. Camilla McComb, EMU Art Education professor. Guest judges were Kevin McNamara, Reggie Miller, Bettye Misuraca, 34th District Court Judge David Parrott, Tom Smith, and Mary Jo Suchy.

Over 100 works of art were displayed at the Belleville Yacht Club. The highlight of the show was a new category, Recycled Recreated, sponsored by Waste Management.
