Don Rochon car show, swap meeting is Sunday, Sept. 16, in Sumpter

The 24th-annual Don Rochon Memorial Car Show and Swap Meet will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sumpter Township fairgrounds, 23501 Sumpter Road, behind the township community center.
Car show entry is $15. Entries close at 12:30 p.m. and awards are presented at 2:30 p.m. Swap meet exhibitor fee is $20 per 10’x10’ spaces.
The event includes door prizes, 50/50 raffle, music, games, food.
The cars at the show, in 20 different categories, are classic custom cars, street rods, trucks, and motorcycles.
Awards will be given out for best: antique car and truck, small truck, station wagon, sports car, street rod, special motorized, muscle car, specialized interest, customized, un-restored Chevy, Chrysler and Ford, best vehicles from the ‘30s through ‘80s, and motorcycle.
