On May 30, the ten Michigan Sculpture Initiative pieces that had been on display in the city of Belleville and Van Buren Township for about a year were removed and replaced with new sculptures.
There are six new sculptures in the city and four new sculptures along Belleville Road in Van Buren Township.
The ten sculptures are being leased for public display for a year paid for in a joint program by the Downtown Development Authorities in the city and the township and donations.
The sculptures are available for purchase in a year and the artists have posted their asking prices.
