Huron Valley Ambulance is having a free event called “Andy the Ambulance Calls 911,” for children ages 4-7. This event teaches children about what to do in emergencies, and about people who can help throughout their community.
This includes a “What’s my Address?” craft, tours of an ambulance and tours of fire, and police cars, along with mock calls to dispatchers to practice.
The event will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at 7981 Belleville Road, Van Buren Township Fire Station #2.
Space is limited to 30 children, so parents are asked to register their children in advance at andycalls911.com . Children must be accompanied by an adult at the event.
