VBT Police seek help with finding car that hit bicyclist

Van Buren Township Police are seeking information on a car that drove off after striking a bicyclist on Ecorse Road near Jeremy at about 7:45 p.m. Jan. 30.
The 28-year-old VBT man was riding his bicycle on the shoulder of the road when he was hit and left lying in the roadway. A passing motorist called police.
The car is described as a 2002-5 Pontiac Grand Am with damage to the front end and possibly the windshield.
The victim did not receive life-threatening injuries and is recovering from the accident.
