The Belleville Farmers’ Market will open at 4 p.m. Monday, June 1, at the Fourth Street Square in downtown Belleville. It is expected to run from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays through September.
Janet Millard of the Belleville Central Business Community, which is sponsoring the market, said vendors will offer food that is locally grown and made, with items available changing as the season progresses.
Presenting sponsors of the market are Genisys Credit Union, Sumpter Collision, Express Tire Automotive Repair, and the Belleville Downtown Development Authority.
Millard said the CBC is hoping the Monday Night Main Street Cruise Classic Car Show will be able to open Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m., also through September.
