Saturday morning fire destroys grow house in Van Buren Township

What fire fighters believe to be a grow house on Maple Street in Van Buren Estates mobile home park burned Saturday morning, April 13.
It was a complete loss, said Van Buren Township Fire Chief Amy Brow. She said no one was in the mobile home at the time of the fire.
Sumpter Township Fire Department provided mutual aid to VBT fire fighters by bringing water in a tanker, since there are no fire hydrants in the mobile home park.
