Alex Salvadaro led the crowd on a virtual tour of the new library under construction in Belleville at last Thursday’s Legacy @ Your Library event at Wayne County Community College. Library architect Dan Whisler provided descriptions of what they were seeing.
Whisler and Salvadaro are part of Daniels & Zermack architectural firm.
Belleville Area District Library Board chairman Sharon Peters talked about the opportunity for the public “to make possible the special things we want for the library by their donations.” Peters said this library is “the biggest building project to serve everyone in Belleville, possibly ever.” About 60 people attended the event.
