Shelly Ann Brown and James Michael Chudzinski, both of Van Buren Township, were married on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the David C. Brown Temporary Wedding Chapel in Belleville.
Shelly is the daughter of David C. and Martha A. Brown of Belleville. James is the son of Walter and Kitty Chudzinski of Van Buren Township.
Deacon Peter Cornell of Belleville performed the ceremony.
Attendants were Tina Buxton of Van Buren Township, Cherie Creger of Narrows, VA; Jacqueline Leich of Romulus; Zack and Alex Chudzinski of Lake Orion; and Seth Willick of Van Buren Township.
The bridal gown was an ivory, floor-length crepe with ruching at the bust, accented by lace shoulders and open back with ruching from the buttons. The bridegroom’s tuxedo was traditional black with an ivory vest and bow tie.
The David C. Brown Temporary Wedding Chapel was transformed for the day and evening for the special ceremony. Garden Fantasy provided a beautiful floral arch and many flowers, including chrysanthemums. Tables were accented with pumpkin centerpieces and cinnamon-scented candles, made exclusively for the couple by Stoney Creek Soy Candle Co.
A Caribbean cruise honeymoon is being planned for the beginning of the year.
“The day was dedicated in Luke’s honor and remembrance and he was smiling down on all of us this beautiful day,” said attendant Tina Buxton, referring to the bride’s five-year-old son Lucas, who died Sept. 25.
