The Detroit Institute of Arts announces in a news release that all Inside|Out 2025 sites throughout Van Buren Township are on display now.
Officially in its 16th year, Inside|Out brings reproductions from the DIA’s world-class collection to outdoor spaces across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties, making it easier for residents to engage with art in their everyday lives, fostering a deeper connection between the museum and its audiences in southeastern Michigan.
“We were honored to be selected by DIA for this year’s program and proud to participate in an initiative that connects people through beauty, reflection, and creativity,” said Van Buren Township Supervisor Kevin McNamara.
“The Inside|Out project brings art to the public in the most impactful way,” he said. “The way our residents have embraced these artworks demonstrates the significant role public art can play in building a stronger and more connected community.”
This year, the Inside|Out program has brought artwork reproductions to the following locations in Van Buren Township: French Landing Park, Harris Park, Pickle Park, Quirk Park, Riggs Heritage Park/Iron Belle Trail, Van Buren Park, Van Buren Township Community Center, and Van Buren Township Hall.
Community members can expect to see eight different reproductions, including works by Vincent van Gogh, Rachel Ruysch, Charles Harry Eaton, and more.
This year’s Inside|Out experience includes a connection to new interactive webpages at dia.org/insideout featuring detailed maps and additional information on each artwork for every participating community, making it easier than ever to trace artworks back to the DIA and discover even more.
To apply to be a host site for Inside|Out 2026, visit dia.org/insideout. Applications will close Aug. 8, with select communities being notified of their acceptance in September 2025.
The Detroit Institute of Art’s Inside|Out program is made possible by the Tri-County millage and Ford Philanthropy.
In addition to experiencing Inside|Out in their communities, residents of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties always receive free general admission to the DIA.
