Steve Dolot of Van Buren Township, a non-verbal adult who has multiple impairments, has been returning cans and bottles collected at Belleville First United Methodist Church at 417 Charles St. since last October.
His fundraising effort has raised $2,705 for the Emergency Food Closet to help feed the hungry in our community.
