Snow has arrived which means the sled hill at Van Buren Park is open for business. The annual preparations have already started for the sled hill.
Van Buren Township staff has put out 75 new straw bales along the side of the hill for safety. Gonzy has been hired to remove the brush along the stairs and hillside of fencing.
More signage about the sled hill rules will be installed at the top of the hill, as well.
VBT Building and Grounds will be contracting with a company to install fencing along the south slope and a new handrail for the stairs.
