Lydia Marvaso, 14, daughter of Larry and Marianne Marvaso of Van Buren Township, recently competed and won the International title with Pure International Pageants.
Having first won the Michigan State title with the Pure system in 2016, then the national title representing America in 2017, she competed against a variety of other countries for the international title in modeling, personal introduction, and interview at the Pure International Pageants International Event in Orlando FL.
Lydia also won Most Photogenic, Runway Super Model, 1st runner up for her modeling portfolio, and was voted Miss Congeniality by her peers.
As a positive role model, Lydia often attends festivals and parades while volunteering her time with organizations including Wigs-4-Kids, the Arthritis Foundation, and the Food Allergy Research & Education organization. Lydia is an honors student and a freshman at Belleville High School.
