Interactive workshops will be held at the Belleville Area District Library to provide the skills and tools needed by people living with chronic health conditions to improve their health and make them feel better.
PATH – Personal Action Toward Health — will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays from June 16 to July 28.
The workshops equip people to better face the daily challenges of living with a chronic condition.
Two trained leaders conduct the workshop and one or both may have a lifelong health condition.
There is no workshop fee and books are available at no charge, but can be ordered, if desired.
During the workshops participants learn how to: deal with the challenges of not feeling well, talk to healthcare workers and family members, overcome stress and relax, increase energy, handle everyway activities more easily, and stay independent.
