Charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence on July 26 in Van Buren Township were dropped by the party involved against Rachel Tanganaie Roberson, 22, and then the Assistant Wayne County Prosecutor moved for dismissal of both charges.
On Aug. 21, 34th District Court Judge David Parrott dismissed the charges and Roberson’s $1,000 personal recognizance bond was cancelled. Roberson’s retained attorney was Maurice Davis.
Matthew Edward Clendenin
Judge Parrott bound over Matthew Edward Clendenin, 24, to circuit court for an arraignment on the information on Sept. 4, after Clendenin waived his preliminary exam. Clendenin is charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer – third degree, penal code – on Jan. 14, 2017 in Sumpter Township. Clendenin’s court-appointment attorney is Kurtis Davenport.
Jazmyne Dior-Levine
After waiving her preliminary exam, Judge Parrott bound Jazmyne Dior-Levine, 17, over to circuit court for a Sept. 4 arraignment on the information on charges of possession of narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams and operating with no license/multiple licenses. This incident was reported in Sumpter Township on Sept. 26, 2018. Her court-appointed attorney is Richard Glanda.
