Chris Hamm receives plaque, badge to honor late husband

Chris Hamm received a plaque and the fire fighter’s badge of her late husband, Sumpter Trustee William Hamm, at the March 22 meeting of the Sumpter Township Board of Trustees.
Presenting the badge was Fire Chief Joseph Januszyk and Trustee Peggy Morgan, board liaison to the fire department, and Sumpter Supervisor John Morgan. William Hamm’s daughter, Kelly Harshman, also was present for the honoring of her father.
Trustee Hamm died Oct. 16 at the age of 60 from an apparent heart attack.
