Canton Center Road is closed between Michigan and Geddes until November

Canton Center Road is closed between Michigan Avenue and Geddes Road until November for pavement reconstruction of the roadway.
Wayne County workers began the work on Aug. 21. Besides pavement, construction will also include improvement to the sidewalk ramps, installation of storm sewers, new signage, and pavement markings.
Completion date of the project is dependent on weather conditions.
During reconstruction, businesses will remain open through alternate entrances. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and use caution in the construction zone.
