I am a great grandmother raising a 9 year old great granddaughter. I was just told of the program, I’ve been able to support us and make sure she has a memorable Christmas. This year I’m not able to give her a Christmas this year. I applied for unemployment in October after I quit my job due to COVID. I drove for Van Buren public schools, 73 years old have a lot of health issues. I was afraid so I quit I didn’t want to bring COVID into or home with me being ill and her having asthma. I hope and pray we are not to late for assistance.
