An Antique Appraisal Day to benefit the Belleville Area Museum will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 15, at the Van Buren Township Hall.
Two more Antique Appraisal Days are set for July 17 and Sept. 18, both also at the Van Buren Township Hall, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Admission and the first item appraised is $10. Every item thereafter is $5, with a limit of three items.
Items may include antiques or old toys, dolls, china, glassware, furniture, documents, figurines, sporting items, Coca Cola memorabilia, prints, paintings, and the like.
Appraisers Doug Dalton and Chuck Schmidt have more than 50 years combined experience between them.
The VBT Hall is at 46425 Tyler Road between Belleville and Quirk Roads.
At the appraisals, people also may donate items to the Belleville Area Museum.
All proceeds from the appraisal days will benefit the Belleville Area Museum’s programs and events.
