There are several Youth/Adult programs happening at the Belleville Area District Library in the next couple of weeks:
• Teddy Bear Picnic on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. for all ages. It’s picnic time for kids and their teddy bear or special stuffed animal friend. Join us with your special stuffed animal for teddy stories, songs, games and crafts!
Storytimes are Sept. 13 – Oct. 21.
Register in person, by calling, or online at https://belleville.evanced.info/signup/Calendar . Registration starts Sept. 1.
• Fall Storytime: Mrs. Nakenya on Mondays at 6:30 p.m.
• Toddler Time, Ms. M on Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
• Family Storytime: Miss Stacia on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
• Baby Storytime: Mrs. Karen on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Teen Book Club! – Second Tuesday of the Month at 6:30 p.m. for those in grades 8-12
Are you a teen that loves to read and talk about books? Come join us for the new Teen Book Club where will read and discuss books of all genres and types. Register at Belleville Area District Library online or by calling at (734) 699-3291.
• Open Mic Night – Sept. 13 at 7 p.m.
Showcase your talents at our Open Mic Night. Share a poem, play an instrument, dance, or sing. Do you have something cool to show us? Please make sure all performances are appropriate for a family audience. You can also just join us to watch the show. Registration is open.
• Homegrown Knowledge – Sept. 9 at 7 p.m., Conk Mushroom Art presented by Haley Spiteri
Homegrown Knowledge is a monthly lecture series sponsored by the Friends of the Library, featuring the knowledge and passions of our local community member.! If you have a topic you’d like to share on the Homegrown Knowledge stage, contact Amy Greschaw at [email protected] .
