The Belleville Area Council for the Arts will be presenting its 9th-annual Belleville Community Art Show Nov. 2-4 at the Belleville Yacht Club, 831 E. Huron River Dr.
An Opening Reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2.
Cash prizes will be awarded in six categories: Adult 2-D, Adult 3-D, Adult Photography, Ages 6-12 and Ages 13-18. This year there is a new category, “Recycled Recreated,” sponsored by Waste Management.
Mendie Russell, BACA’s president, will be announcing the winners at 7:30 p.m. Families and friends are invited to meet the artists and judges. Refreshments will be served. It is free and open to the public.
There will be viewing of the show from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.
The art show is free, but donations to the Council for the Arts are appreciated.
