Applications being accepted for Winter Fest Parade on Dec. 1

The Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2018 Winter Fest Light Parade to be held 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1.
This year’s theme is “Songs of the Season.” Line up for the parade on Davis Street, behind Belleville High School, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Judging is at 5 p.m.
The parade steps off from BHS at 6 p.m. and proceeds down West Columbia Avenue to Five Points and then up Main Street to the museum.
Santa will come to town on a fire engine at the end of the parade and then visit with children and hand out stockings at First United Methodist Church.
