Lonnie Brammer of Belleville alerts the community that when the Holiday Train came through town last Wednesday night, Nov. 30, the conductor on board was his brother-in-law David McDonald.
David grew up in Belleville on Judd Road and was in the Belleville High School class of 1986. He now lives in Southwest Michigan and has worked for Canadian Pacific railroad for six years.
After his trip David said, “What an amazing night! Left Windsor around 8 p.m. and made our way through Detroit and then through Southern Michigan and made our way to Elkhart. At least 15,000 people greeted us at every crossing between Detroit and Elkhart. So many smiling faces, so many happy babies. It warmed my heart and gave me the Christmas spirit.”
