The Van Buren Area Little League Boys Intermediate (50/70) Division were the District 16 District Champions, going on to play at the Little League State Tournament in Jenison, MI, the week of July 11.
The team is made up of 13 boys, ages 11-13, and it faced tough competition in the five-day tournament. The team played Cheboygan Little League, Taylor Little League, and, finally, Georgetown Little League.
The team is made up of Caleb Hayre, Jack Winter, Thomas Leese, Jackson Littleson, Nathan Antolin, Logan Drogowski, and Evan Rickard, Zack Dorton, Jonah McLaughlin, C.J. Alvarado, Dylan Gray, Landon Kelly, and Jett Isaacs. The coaches are Bill Drogowski, Jeremy Gray, and Jeremy McLaughlin.
