At 10:18 p.m. Monday, July 4, Huron Valley Ambulance transported one person in critical condition from the 19000 block of Martinsville Road in Sumpter Township to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Sumpter Township Police Chief Eric Luke said the injury was from a fireworks accident and HVA was already loading the person into the ambulance when his officers arrived. He said the accident occurred on the grounds of the motorcycle club.
