Michigan Area Bishop Deborah L. Kiesey has appointed the Reverend Harris Mannah Dunn as the new pastor of Denton Faith United Methodist Church, Belleville, effective July 1.
Rev. Dunn was ordained a Deacon in February 1998 and an Elder in February 2011 in the Liberia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (with a major in African History) from the University of Liberia (1996) and a Master of Business Administration degree. He has earned academic credits toward his Master of Divinity degree.
The church members invite the community to come and worship with them at Denton Faith United Methodist Church and meet the new pastor.
The service begins at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 3, and there will be a reception immediately following worship to greet and welcome Rev. Dunn.
Denton Faith United Methodist Church is located at 6020 Denton Road, at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Denton Road, in the community of Denton. The church mission is “A Place to Belong, A Place to Worship, A Place to Grow in Faith.”
