The final conference for the two defendants in a July 11 Van Buren Township armed robbery has been reset from Oct. 3 to Oct. 16 before Circuit Court Judge Catherine L. Heise at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit.
The jury trial has been set for 9 a.m. Nov. 17.
Devon Lamar Mayes, 22, and Hyo Sang Rogers, 30, both of Taylor, are accused of robbing Montroy Market, at the corner of Haggerty and Van Born roads.
Each defendant is charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of felonious assault, and a weapons charge.
Mayes is out on $50,000/10% bond and is wearing a tether.
Rogers is in the Wayne County Jail unable to post his $100,000/10% bond, plus tether. A reduction in his bond was denied by the court.
Both defendants are facing additional weapons charges in Taylor.
