Frozen Leprechaun charity party to feature events on frozen lake

It’s that time again: St. Patrick’s Day weekend!
The Belleville Lake Water Ski Club is putting on its annual Frozen Leprechaun Charity Party at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 15, on Belleville Lake off Horizon Park and at Johnny’s Grill.
The last two years featured water skiing in frigid Belleville Lake, with $20,000 raised for the Van Buren Public Schools Education Foundation.
This year the Educational Foundation will again be the beneficiary.
The charity party will feature events on the frozen lake, plus raffles for a tablet computer, MIS camping tickets, Tiger tickets, an autographed baseball, water skiing toys, dental/cosmetic work and many other items from local businesses.
