Kenneth Farr of Boy Scout Troop #793 was present at the July 17 meeting of the Van Buren Public Schools Board of Education with scout leader Martin Church, to explain to the board what he wanted to do as his Eagle Project.
He said he had been a student at Rawsonville Elementary School and that’s where he wanted to do his project. He plans to re-fix the flower boxes with cement bottoms because there had been a mole problem and to clear out the weeds to get it ready for the school to plant flowers.
He will also paint 10’x10’ spaces with games and add three more than are already there.
School Supt. Pete Kudlak said he will provide a letter of support.
Kenneth, a student at Belleville High School, is the son of Kevin and Sarah Farr of Van Buren Township.
