Clarification: Accident was at Main St./N. Liberty, not at Hayward’s

In the July 6 edition of the Independent we published remarks on page 10 by Acting Belleville Police Chief Kris Faull that said the uptick in vehicle accidents in the city this year was mainly due to accidents at Hayward’s. Chief Faull said that was a misstatement and she should have said the accidents were in the area of Main Street and North Liberty Street.
