On Jan. 14, 34th District Court Judge Bryan A. Oakley swore in members of the Van Buren Public Schools Board of Education that were elected Nov. 6. Sworn in were Amy Pearce, Cal Hawkins, and Darlene Gerick.
34th District Court Judge David Parrott swore in the newly elected members of the Belleville Area District Library Board before its regular board meeting on Jan. 8. They are Linda Priest, Barbara Gates, Mary Jane Dawson, and Sharon Peters.
