The Belleville High School Robotics Team is seeking sponsorships for its team robot and for funding to host the district competition this spring with other FIRST Robotics competitors.
BHS Team 6615 is now in its third year and, for the second year, will be hosting district competition March 7-9, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at the high school. The public is welcome to come in and see the competition without charge.
There will be 40 FIRST Robotics Teams from schools throughout the State of Michigan.

The BHS students are among nearly 7,000 teams around the world that build robots with guidance from local engineers and mentors to participate in the FIRST Robotics competitions.
In 2017, the Belleville team earned the Highest Rookie Seed Award and the 2017 Rookie Inspiration Award. In 2018, it was District Champion at the St. Joseph competition.
Donations may be made out to the Van Buren Public Schools.
