2018 yard waste season ends the week of Nov. 26 in Van Buren Township

Van Buren Township alerts residents that trash pick ups the week of Nov. 26 end the 2018 yard waste season.
A 32-gallon can must have a yard waste sticker. Face the sticker toward the street and place the container five feet from the garbage container. Fifty-pound limit.
For brush, bundle all branches that are less than six inches in diameter. Bundles must not weigh more than 50 pounds. Bundles must be no longer than four feet in length and 18 inches around. Brush larger than six inches in diameter must still be in bundles, however, it is considered trash.
Thirty leaf bags/cans maximum at curbside.
