The 78th-annual Wayne County Fair continues through Saturday, Aug. 3, at the fairgrounds on Quirk Road, north the I-94 Service Drive in Van Buren Township.
Parking is $10 per car. Walk-ins are $5 per person.
Thursday, Aug. 1, is Kids Day at the fair, with goat milking at 9 a.m. at the livestock pavilion and a horse show at 9 a.m. in the horse arena. Free entertainment for kids is offered. Crafters and vendors will be there from noon to 10 p.m. and the carnival opens at 1 p.m.
The livestock auction dinner is at 5:30 p.m., also on Aug. 1, followed by the livestock auction at 6:45 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 2, is Veterans’ Day and Saturday’s activities include the Unique Motorsports Night of Destruction at 7:30 p.m. at the grandstand.
