That’s Amore event to raise funds for leukemia research for children

From 5:30-11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, a dinner and live auction — called That’s Amore XII — will raise funds for C.S. Mott’s Children’s Hospital Pediatric Leukemia Research at the Charles Woodson Center.
The event is held annually at the Eagles, 9961 Beck Road, Van Buren Township, and is open to the public.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, which includes an Italian dinner prepared by Nico & Vali Italian Eatery in Plymouth. There will be complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks, with a cash bar for other cocktails.
Whitey will provide DJ entertainment, dancing, and silent and live auctions.
Best of all, guests will know they made a difference in the life of a child, said Linda Combs, chairwoman of the event.
