The Sept. 8 meeting of the Sumpter Township Planning Commission could not be held because there was no quorum.
On the agenda was to be continued discussion of the Medical Marijuana Zoning Ordinance amendments and a proposed Portable Storage Unit Zoning Ordinance.
The next meeting of the planning commission is at 7 p.m. Oct. 13. Expected to be on that agenda, besides the discussions delayed from Sept. 8, are the site plan review for Friends of Michigan Animals Rescue kennel expansion on Arkona Road and the site plan review of Nelson Po’s 40 acres cleared of trees on Willis Road for a marijuana growing business.
Present at the Sept. 8 meeting were Commissioners Virginia Belinski, Jay Bardell, and Mary Sherwood. Absent were Commissioners Tyrone Borden, Jim Clark, Joy Cichewicz, Jane Stalmack, Matthew Oddy, and Richard Pokerwinski.
